I would like to share my daughter Elisse’s story — a journey that reflects both the challenges she faced and the incredible transformation she has experienced since joining Growth and Quest Academy.

During her time in her previous school, Elisse endured an extremely difficult experience in her math class. Unfortunately, her math teacher’s behavior toward her was not only discouraging but deeply demoralizing. Rather than motivating and guiding her, this teacher often belittled her efforts, making her feel incapable and unwelcome in the classroom. Over time, this constant negativity took a toll on her confidence, causing her to regress academically and emotionally. Elisse, who had once been a bright and curious learner, began to dread math and even lost interest in school altogether.

After much prayer and consideration, her father and I made the decision to transfer Elisse to Growth and Quest Academy, and it has been the best decision we could have made. The difference has been extraordinary. Under the care and guidance of her wonderful teachers — Mrs. Annie, Mr. I, and Mr. Jake — Elisse has not only regained her confidence but has flourished beyond our expectations.

Today, Elisse wakes up every morning excited to learn. She approaches her studies with enthusiasm and curiosity, and her progress in math has been remarkable. Most importantly, she now feels valued, supported, and truly seen. The nurturing and faith-based environment at Growth and Quest Academy has restored her love for learning and renewed her sense of self-worth.
